Writing is a way of communicating a message to a reader for a purpose.
The purposes of writing are to express one’s self, to provide information for one’s reader, to persuade one’s reader, and to create a literary work.
Writing ability is the skill to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings to other people in written symbols to make other people or readers understand the ideas conveyed.Writing is not limited to any specific form, function, or genre.
Writers often choose a form in which to participate–a story or a poem or a letter–but these choices are part of the writing process, and writers should never feel limited by them.
